Catholic Foundation Awards Grant to Serra Club of North Columbus

The Serra Club of North Columbus gratefully acknowledges the recent award of a 2018 Responsive Grant by the Catholic Foundation to help the club support its 2017 Vocations Awareness Luncheons. Each year, Serra North hosts two luncheons for approximately 300 eighth grade and high school students, focused on vocations to the priesthood or religious life.

At the 2017 Boys’ Luncheon, held October 3rd, Fr. Dan Dury, pastor of St. Catharine parish, regaled the audience with his vocation story in his characteristic enthusiastic style. The upcoming Girls’ Luncheon, November 7th, will feature Sr. John Paul Maher, O.P., Principal of St. Michael School.

This Catholic Foundation grant supports the expenses related to both these luncheons.
