“Serrans, you are the lay vocation arm of the Catholic Church.”
– Saint Pope John Paul II
The Priestly Vocation Tuition Assistance Fund was established to encourage boys in 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grades to reflect on a religious vocation by writing essays on whether they feel called to the priesthood. Ten $1,000 tuition scholarships are awarded to students attending a Columbus Diocesan Catholic High School.
Our goal is to foster vocations and bless as many young men as possible with tuition assistance to a Catholic high school. By 2035, we hope this endowment will grant $40,000 annually, providing ten Scholarships for each grade, 8th-11th.
In addition to the Board of Directors of the Serra Club of Columbus, the Priestly Vocation Tuition Assistance Program is honored to have the support of: The Most Reverend Earl K. Fernandes, Bishop of Columbus, Dr. Adam Dufault, Superintendent of Our Catholic SchoolsCatholic Schools, Fr William Hahn, Vicar General and Director of Priestly Life and Vocations for the Diocese of Columbus, and The Catholic FoundationCatholic Foundation.
